First of all, I want to say that I might sound a little harsh so Im sorry if I offend anyone; thats definitely not my intention. Im going to start by saying that I was born and raised as a Catholic and I also went to a Catholic school.

When I was a young teenager, I started questioning the Catholic beliefs about the homosexuals. Homosexuals were believed to be choosing to be homosexuals. They were often pushed to the side by the Catholic Church and subjected as how its bad being like them. I also dont like the idea to get into their lives by saying that they shouldnt get married; if there is a homosexual couple that is totally in love and actually want to commit themselves to be together for the rest of their lives with the blessings of the church, why cant they? Its even proved that homosexuality is the genes, therefore its not chosen. I do not agree of having sex just for fun, I think that sex is an act of love and that the pleasure of having sex should be shared with the person you love. I also want to say that I have a friend thats gay (probably the gayest of the gays) and extremely religious. Hes never had sex, like never (not even with a woman). Hes celibate because of his religious beliefs; he doesnt think its right to have homosexual sex and also not have sex with a person that you dont love. One day he told me that he wanted to give himself to God by becoming a priest. I supported him 100% but at the same time I have never seen or heard of a gay priest before, so I was kind of questioning it. Eventually, the Catholic Church said no to him for being a homosexual (he was completely honest about being gay to the Church). I was not really surprised, but I did get angry. Weve all seen the news about priests raping little boys who are obviously not religious at all, but then you see a man whos completely honest about being gay, whos totally religious, whos never had sex only to be faithful to his beliefs, and who would NEVER do such a thing as raping anyone.

And speaking of the priest raping the boys, the Catholic Church offered to pay MILLIONS to the families in order to shut up. I personally cant believe a Church who tries to teach about forgiveness and about that were all human and that we make mistakes, but then hide something so big. If they wouldve been honest about it, I wouldve had no problem. I cannot blame the Catholic Church for a member doing something wrong, thats just ignorant. But I can blame the Catholic Church for being a hypocrite for lying to all of us and paying millions to the families in order to lie to us by not telling us the truth, who even got those millions by our donations.

When I turned fifthteen, I wanted as a birthday gift to go Europe. I went to Rome and to the Vatican. The Vatican was beautiful for all the paintings, but I couldnt help thinking that those thousands of paintings from the Renaissance were valued at millions of dollars each. So I thought about the Catholic Church always asking for donations in the masses and saying that we should give money to the poor. If they have paintings worth probably billions all together, why not sell them? I dont care if they were gifts, its more important to give money to people that are starving to death. Why even accept those paintings from the beginning? Why not say I prefer that you give me donations in cash in order so I can give them to the poor? Even though I was completely stunned by this, I still went to Church.

I was one day at Church, probably a Sunday, and the time came were the person passes by and collects donations for the Church. After the whole thinking about the Vatican, I decided to not give donations to the Church anymore; it didnt feel right to me that they would use that money in negative ways. The person collecting the donations was a man this day and after he collected the donations he went to the back of the Church were theres a little room, but he left the door of the room open. Then the priest went inside the room just for a second to collect the money (by the way, Im the only one seeing this because I was in the back corner and I could see everything from the angle I was in). I saw the man saying something to the priest (couldnt hear) and then reaching inside the basket and getting a twenty dollar bill and then stuffing it into his pocket with the priest in front of him. I cannot express in words how angry, disturbed, disappointed, and betrayed I felt. To this day, I still regret not talking to the priest about allowing this man get a twenty dollar bill just for passing a little basket. The thing that disturbed me the most is that the person who gave that twenty dollar bill gave the money to the Church, not to the man and of course that priest didnt mind at all. As of that day, I do not go to Church. I cannot put my foot in a place that I know is a lie. This is definitely not the Catholic Church that Christ wanted, this Church is mockery towards God. The

I am a guy by the way.. I really like this 20 year old girl who goes to my community college. This girl is the beautifulest girl I have ever seen. She looks like the type of girl who could get a lot of guys and looks like she was really popular in high school. Well I heard her talking to this women and she said I have never had a boyfriend before. The older women was shocked and said "good for you girl focus on your studies." I am going to have my legs waxed tonight by my auntie who is doing a beauty NVQ at a college that she is studying at, and I really dont want to have it done because my last experience with leg waxing was so bad that I couldnt even go through with all of it( this was done by a beautician that had her own salon at home). I dont know if it was because I hadnt grown my leg hair long enough of if the lady was just terrible at what she was doing but I paid 10.50 for have like 2 strips done because it was unbearable!! My auntie begged me to let her do it because she couldnt find anyone else that would go in so out of guilt I am going I really dont want to let her down and be in so much pain that I cant go through with it all. Any suggestions on how I can make it less painful? Shall I buy a hole bottle of vodka and down it to numb the pain?
